Bude is a great place for surfing and there are a number of great beaches for surfers to explore including Summerleaze and Crooklets. Surfing continues all year and can be at its best from September to March, so it can be a great time to pay us a visit off season for some fantastic waves. The conditions tend to be more favourable for beginners over the summer. Local surf schools include Freewave Surf Academy, Big Blue Surf School and Bude Surfing Experience.
PADDLE BOARDING
Paddleboarding or SUP is an achievable, more relaxing alternative to surfing and one of the fastest growing water sports around the world.
